My first project was this little superhero keychain and I had way too much fun making it. I started with the outline and kept adding details until it finally looked like a tiny character I could hold. My son immediately claimed it for his backpack.

This turned out even better than I expected. I loved watching the details build up as I worked, and the finished piece has so much more dimension than a regular painting. I ended up putting it on display because it actually looks great with my home decor.

I wanted to make something personal from one of our favorite photos instead of buying another ordinary gift. It took some time to finish, but seeing the image become something textured and handmade made it feel much more meaningful. I’m really happy I tried it.
